Lucy Mayes

Lucy is a strategic, values driven facilitator and consultant specialising in strategic culture crafting and collaboration. She brings her diverse skillset and experience as a trained lawyer, social worker and company director, having worked across multiple settings including corporate, healthcare, charity, welfare, not-for-profit, education, government and the arts.

Lucy has held executive leadership and advisory roles and has extensive governance experience as Chair and Director for a number of not-for-profit Boards. She is passionate about what enables people to do their best work together — the leadership, systems, and processes that support collective, sustained thriving. Her work combines a strong evidence base with deep listening and a belief in the collective wisdom of all stakeholders. She takes a grounded, strengths-based, systemic approach to individual, team, and organisational wellbeing, collaboration, and resilience.

Lucy is a Tedx presenter and a regular presenter, facilitator and MC at conferences, forums and workshops and is the author of Beyond the Stethoscope: Doctors’ stories of reclaiming hope, heart and healing in medicine, editor of Kindness Anthology #2 (produced by the Hush Foundation) and of 'A Different Flood: Stories of strength and recovery’ (produced by Goldfields Library Corporation). She was Victorian runner up in the Australian Rural Women’s Award in 2008 and is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.
